The valve in operation, various valve parts should be complete, intact. Bolts on flange and bracket are indispensable, threads should be intact, no loosening is allowed. For the environment susceptible to rain, snow, dust, sand and other dirt contaminated valve, the valve stem to install a protective cover. The scale on the valve shall be complete, accurate and clear. Valve seal, cap, pneumatic accessories should be complete and intact. Insulation jacket should not sag, crack. It is not allowed to knock, stand or support heavy objects on the running valve. In particular, non-metallic valves and cast iron valves should be prohibited.
The professional maintenance of valves before and after welding production plays a vital role in the production and operation of valves. Correct and orderly and effective maintenance will protect valves, make them function normally and extend the service life of valves. Valve maintenance seems simple, but it is not. There are often overlooked aspects of work.
1. The quantity of valve grease is often ignored. After the grease gun is refueled, the operator selects the valve and grease connection mode to carry out grease injection. There are two situations: on the one hand, less fat injection is insufficient, and the sealing surface is accelerated by the lack of lubricant. On the other hand, excessive fat injection, resulting in waste. There is no accurate calculation of different valve sealing capacities based on valve type and category. The sealing capacity can be calculated by valve size and type, and then reasonable injection of appropriate grease.
2. The pressure problem is often ignored when the valve is greased. During the operation of fat injection, the pressure of fat injection showed a regular peak and valley change. If the pressure is too low, the seal leakage or failure, if the pressure is too high, the grease injection mouth is blocked, the grease in the seal is hardened, or the sealing ring is locked with the valve ball and valve plate. Usually when the grease injection pressure is too low, the injected grease flows into the bottom of the valve chamber, which generally occurs in small gate valves. If the fat injection pressure is too high, on the one hand, check the fat injection nozzle and replace it if the blockage of the fat hole is identified; On the other hand, grease hardening, to use cleaning liquid, repeatedly soften the failure of the sealing grease, and injection of new grease replacement. In addition, sealing type and sealing material also affect the grease injection pressure, different sealing forms have different grease injection pressure, in general, the hard seal grease injection pressure is higher than the soft seal.
3. When greasing the valve, pay attention to the valve in the switch position. Ball valve maintenance is generally in an open state, special circumstances choose to close the maintenance. Other valves should not be open. Gate valve in maintenance must be in the closed state, to ensure that grease along the sealing ring full of sealing groove, if open, sealing grease will directly fall into the flow channel or valve chamber, resulting in waste.
4. The effect of valve grease injection is often ignored. The pressure, the amount of fat and the switch position are all normal in the operation of fat injection. But in order to ensure the valve grease effect, sometimes need to open or close the valve, check the lubrication effect, confirm the valve ball or gate surface lubrication is uniform.
5. When grease injection, attention should be paid to the valve body sewage and silk blockage pressure relief problems. After the pressure test of the valve, the pressure of the gas and water in the sealed chamber valve chamber is increased due to the rise of the ambient temperature, so the pressure relief of sewage discharge should be carried out first to facilitate the smooth operation of the grease injection. After grease injection, air and moisture in the sealed cavity are fully displaced. Timely discharge valve chamber pressure, but also to ensure the safety of the use of the valve. After grease injection, the drain and pressure relief wire must be tightened to prevent accidents.
6. When filling fat, pay attention to the problem of fat uniformity. In normal fat-injection, the nearest fat-outlet hole from the fat-injection port first gives fat, then to the low point, and finally to the high point, successive fat. If not according to the rule or no fat, prove the existence of blockage, timely clearance treatment.
7. Grease injection should also observe the valve diameter and sealing ring seat flush problem. For example, ball valve, if there is interference, can be adjusted to the opening limit inward, confirm the diameter straight after locking. Adjust the limit can not only pursue on or off position, to consider the whole. If the opening position is even and the closing is not in place, the valve will be closed loosely. Similarly, adjust the switch in place, also consider the corresponding adjustment of the open position. Ensure right Angle stroke of valve.
8. After grease injection, be sure to seal the grease injection port. Avoid impurities into, or grease mouth grease oxidation, cover to smear anti-rust grease, to avoid rust. So that it can be applied the next time.
9. When grease injection, we should also consider the specific problems in the future oil sequence transportation. In view of the different quality of diesel and gasoline, the scour and decomposition capacity of gasoline should be considered. In the future valve operation, when encountering gasoline section operation, timely add grease to prevent wear.
10. When greasing, do not ignore the valve stem part of the grease. Valve shaft parts sliding sleeve or packing, also need to maintain lubrication, in order to reduce the friction resistance during operation, such as lubrication can not ensure, the electric operation torque increases wear parts, manual operation switch laborious.
11. Some ball valve body is marked with arrows, if there is no English FIOW handwriting attached, it is the direction of the sealing seat, not as a reference to the flow direction of the medium, the direction of valve self-discharge is opposite. Normally, two - seat sealed ball valves have two - way flow.
12. Valve maintenance, but also pay attention to the water in the electric head and its transmission mechanism. Especially water that seeps in during the rainy season. One is to make the transmission mechanism or drive shaft sleeve rust, two is frozen in winter. Cause the electric valve operation torque is too large, damage to the transmission parts will make the motor no load or ultra torque protection jump can not achieve electric operation. Transmission parts damaged, manual operation can not be carried out.
