CPP Tunnel Thruster
A CPP tunnel thruster is a type of marine propulsion system that uses a controllable pitch propeller (CPP) mounted in a tunnel on the bow or stern of a vessel to provide additional maneuverability and control. The CPP tunnel thruster is designed to provide optimal thrust and maneuverability in challenging marine environments. It consists of a propeller that can be rotated to change the angle of the blades, allowing for precise control of the direction and magnitude of the thrust generated. CPP tunnel thrusters are typically used in larger vessels, such as cargo ships and oil tankers, where high levels of thrust are required to maneuver in and out of ports and harbors. They are capable of generating high levels of power and can provide excellent maneuverability in challenging marine environments.
