ISO 13776-2020 Pedestal Roller Fairlead

Introduction:

The pedestal fairlead is a type of ship’s mooring fittings installed on board to lead and change the direction of mooring ropes. The yield point of the material used for manufacturing the pedestal fairlead should not be less than 235N/mm², all the surfaces of the roller and pedestal of the fairlead and the welding area should not have visible flaws.

All the surfaces touched with ropes should not have roughness and irregularities, the ISO 13776-2020 Pedestal Roller Fairlead should be coated with anti-corrosion protective paint.

There are three types of roller for ISO 13776-2020 pedestal roller fairlead. Details follow the standard ISO 13755-2020 steel roller. Most of the sizes of type A and type B steel rollers are the same. Type B is a version of type A with a dust cover, so the weight of type B is slightly increased. The top of the type C steel roller is tapered with a dust cover too.
