Application:

JIS F2031 pawl type chain stopper is made up of cast steel, it's applicable to grade 2 and grade 3 anchor chains. Pawl type chain stopper is installed on the ship between the windlass and hawsepipe, it can clamp the anchor chain when ship sails or drops anchor. It helps to reduce the working load of windlass, letting the windlass out of the pull from anchor. We supply all types of chain stoppers and can customize chain stoppers according to customer’s drawings and specifications.
