Introduction

Weathertight hatch covers are installed on each open deck above the freeboard deck and on decks inside semi-enclosed superstructures or deck rooms. Small weathertight hatch mainly consists of coaming, cover, hinge, clamping device,, brake, latch, handle and seal. The material of the enclosure and cover plate is carbon steel for A class hull structure.
