Yacht Buoy
Yacht Buoy
Description:
A yacht buoy is a specialized floating device designed to secure and moor yachts and other watercraft in marinas or anchorage areas. It serves as a stable and secure attachment point for boats, preventing them from drifting or moving with the currents. Yacht buoys are typically made of durable materials such as heavy-duty plastic or foam, which are resistant to corrosion and can withstand the harsh marine environment.
The buoy consists of a buoyant core, often filled with foam or air, enclosed within a protective outer shell. The outer shell is usually bright in color, such as orange or yellow, to enhance visibility and ensure easy identification in the water. Some buoys may have reflective strips or lights for additional visibility during low-light conditions or at night.
The design of a yacht buoy typically includes a central hole or eyelet through which a mooring line or rope can be passed. This eyelet is often reinforced with metal or sturdy plastic to provide strength and durability. The mooring line is then attached to the yacht's cleat or other secure points on the vessel, creating a connection between the boat and the buoy.
Yacht buoys come in various sizes and buoyancy ratings to accommodate different boat sizes and weight loads. They are typically labeled with their maximum weight capacity and may have additional markings or labels indicating the manufacturer, buoy type, or other relevant information.
When a yacht approaches a buoy, the captain or crew typically throws a line or rope with a weighted end toward the buoy. The buoy's eyelet is then caught with the weighted end, allowing the crew to pull the buoy closer to the boat. Once the buoy is within reach, the crew can secure the mooring line to the yacht's cleat, creating a stable connection that keeps the boat in position.
Main Yacht Buoy List:
Yacht Buoy
Yacht buoy as a mooring product, which can provide a mooring buffer and protection for yacht. It reduce the impact on the shore when the yacht is docked. This type of yacht buoy is made of the PVC raw materials, which has the anti-aging and not fade features. Many bright colors are available, and sizes can custom according to customer’s request.
Features:
. Even Wall thickness for maximum strength and durability;
. Heavy-duty reinforced rope hold;
