Controllable Pitch Propeller
Application
A controllable pitch propeller (CPP) is a type of marine propulsion system that consists of a propeller with blades that can be rotated to adjust the angle of attack or pitch of the blades. This allows the propeller to optimize its efficiency for different operating conditions, such as changing speeds, sea conditions, or vessel load. Controllable pitch propellers are typically used in larger vessels, such as cargo ships, tankers, and cruise ships, where high levels of performance and flexibility are required. They are also commonly used in propulsion systems for offshore drilling rigs, military vessels, and tugboats.
Advantages
1.Simplify the structure of the main engine and even the entire power device.
2.Improve the operation performance and mobility of a ship, conducive to driving automation.
3.Different designs for different customers.
