Free Fall Lifeboat
Description:
A free fall lifeboat is a type of lifeboat commonly used on ships and offshore installations for emergency evacuation of personnel. It is designed to be launched from a high point on the ship or platform, allowing it to quickly and safely enter the water in a controlled manner.
Free fall lifeboats are equipped with a specialized launching system that enables them to be released from a ramp or davit at a significant height above the water. Upon release, the lifeboat descends rapidly and strikes the water surface, often nose-first, in a controlled free fall motion.
Free fall lifeboats come in various sizes and capacities, typically ranging from 20 to 150 persons. The capacity depends on the specific requirements and regulations for the vessel or offshore installation.
Fitted with release mechanism and free falls in to the water.
It can self-righting by itself when capsized.
The surface for walking is the antiskid.
Equip a manual pump remove the ponding in the boat.
Running time of rescue boat when full-loaded & full-speed is more than 24 hours.
All seats are according to requirement of cosmetology; four point safe belt and cushion were fitted on seat.
Optional class certificate: CCS, BV, NK, DNV GL, ABS, LR etc.
