CAT Series Steel - Plastic Geobelt in Highway Engineering
CAT Series steel-plastic composite reinforced geobelt is a kind of geosynthetics using carbon spring steel wires covered with polyethylene belt. The geobelt is flexible and solid. As the main stress bearing components, steel wires achieve very small creep performance.
The surface of the reinforced belt has rough patterns formed by hot extrusion, which effectively improves the quasi-friction coefficient between the reinforced belt and the filled soil. The anti-aging polyethylene protective layer has the chemical properties of acid, alkali and salt corrosion resistance, and can resist the aging caused by ultraviolet radiation
The designed life of the CAT steel-plastic composite geobelt under the padding can be as long as 100 years, which can meet the permanent engineering needs.
