Marine Hand Winch
Application
A marine hand winch, also known as a manual winch, is a type of winch that is powered by manual means, typically using a crank handle. A steering wheel handle is equipped with a ratchet system to keep the weight in the desired position. According to the size of the load, the transmission gear can be changed along the shaft to meet the requirement of speed change. Hand winches are designed to be portable and easy to use, making them ideal for a variety of marine applications, such as launching and retrieving small boats, hoisting gear onto a deck, or securing loads on a trailer.
Marine hand winches are typically constructed from materials that are resistant to corrosion, such as stainless steel, aluminium, or carbon steel. They may also be coated with a protective finish, such as galvanizing or paint, to help reduce the risk of corrosion.
