Measuring and Analytics Pressure Transmitter
Introduction:
A pressure transmitter is a type of sensor used to measure and transmit pressure readings in various industrial applications. It is a crucial component in many industries, including oil and gas, chemical processing, pharmaceuticals, power generation, and HVAC systems.
The primary function of a pressure transmitter is to convert the physical pressure exerted on it into an electrical signal that can be easily measured and analyzed. It consists of a sensing element, signal conditioning circuitry, and an output interface. The sensing element, usually a diaphragm or a strain gauge, deforms in response to the applied pressure. This deformation generates an electrical signal proportional to the pressure.
