Connection Ways of Valves

1. Welding Connection: SW-socket welding, BW-butt welding

Welded connection refers to the valve body with a welded bevel, a form of connection connected to the piping system by welding.

Valve and pipeline welding is divided into butt welding connection (BW) and socket welding connection (SW), butt welding connection (BW) can be applied to a variety of sizes, various pressures and high temperature conditions. Socket welding connection (SW) is generally applicable to valves ≤ 50.

2. Threaded Connection: FT-internal thread, MT-external thread.

Threaded link refers to the valve body with internal or external threads, through the threads and piping systems connected to a connection.

3. Flange Connection: RF/FF/RJ Flange.

Flange connection can be applied to a variety of nominal size, nominal pressure of the valve, but there are some restrictions on the use of temperature, in high temperature conditions, due to the flange connection of the bolts are prone to creep phenomenon caused by leakage, in general flange connection is recommended to be used in ≤ 350 degrees Celsius temperature.

4. Wafer Connection:

Wafer connection refers to the pipeline flange on both sides of the valve, through the bolt clamping so that the valve is connected to the pipeline system, a connection.

5. Clamp Connection:

Clamp connection refers to the valve body with a clamp port, through the clamp and piping system connected to a connection. The clamp is a kind of quick connector, two bolts a screw, the pipeline is connected.

6. Ferrule Connection:

The ferrule connection refers to the ferrule is a hollow tube, the tube wall cross-section is tapered, mainly used for small-diameter high-pressure sealing, through the bolt preload extrusion taper to ensure sealing, general ferrule connection disassembled will have to be replaced.
