Application

30KN marine anchor capstan is a capstan with a gypsy wheel and is used for mooring and anchoring. Anchor capstans can be delivered with electric as well as hydraulic drives. The electric anchor capstan can be delivered with a one, two or three speed electric motor. The advantage of the infinite control of the capstan head can be achieved with hydraulic or frequency driven capstans. Anchor capstans are equipped with a manual or hydraulic brake with the brake fitted to the gearbox. The anchor capstan is an important piece of equipment for safe and efficient anchoring operations, and it is often used in conjunction with other equipment, such as anchor windlasses and chain stoppers, to provide a secure and stable anchoring arrangement.
