Buoy Chain

Introduction:

Composed of Saddle Chain, Short Chain, Half-length Chain, Full-length Chain and connecting shackle, end shackle, swivel and other accessories, used for mooring or fixing various buoys.

Anchor and Chain Connection Way:

Connecting an anchor chain to the anchor requires a secure and reliable method to ensure the chain does not become disconnected or break under load. Here are the two most common ways to connect an anchor chain to an anchor:
Shackles: Shackles are the most common method of connecting the anchor chain to the anchor. The shackle is attached to the anchor shank and the chain is connected to the shackle pin. When using shackles, it is important to ensure that they are properly tightened and that the shackle pin is properly secured with wire or a safety clip.
Swivels: Swivels can also be used to connect the chain to the anchor. They are typically used to prevent the chain from twisting or getting tangled. The swivel is attached to the anchor shank and the chain is connected to the swivel eye. When using swivels, it is important to ensure that they are properly lubricated and maintained to prevent rust or corrosion.
Regardless of the method used, it is important to ensure that the connection between the anchor chain and the anchor is secure and reliable. It is also important to inspect the connection regularly to ensure that there is no wear or damage that could compromise the strength of the connection.
