Caisson Moving Airbag
Caisson Moving Airbag
Description:
A caisson moving airbag is a specialized device used for the transportation and relocation of large underwater structures, such as caissons or other heavy objects. It employs the principle of buoyancy to lift and move these structures with minimal damage or disruption.
The caisson moving airbag consists of a durable and flexible airtight bag, typically made of reinforced rubber or PVC material. It is designed to be inserted beneath the structure to be moved, usually underwater. The bag is then inflated with compressed air, causing it to expand and create a lifting force.
The airbag's lifting force enables the caisson or other submerged object to rise and float in the water. This flotation effect reduces the overall weight and friction of the structure, allowing it to be easily maneuvered and transported to its desired location.
To control the movement of the caisson, the airbag is divided into several separate compartments or chambers. Each chamber has its own valve, allowing for precise control over the inflation and deflation process. By adjusting the air pressure in different chambers, operators can manipulate the buoyancy and stability of the structure, ensuring safe and controlled movement.
During transportation, the caisson moving airbag is often attached to a towing system, such as cables or ropes, which are connected to powerful winches or tugboats. These towing systems provide the necessary force to pull the structure through the water or onto a dry surface.
Caisson moving airbags are particularly useful in situations where traditional lifting methods, such as cranes or hydraulic systems, are impractical or inaccessible. They offer a versatile and efficient solution for moving heavy objects in challenging underwater environments, such as ports, harbors, or offshore installations.
It is worth noting that while the concept of caisson moving airbags remains consistent, specific designs and configurations may vary depending on the size and weight of the structures being moved, as well as the specific requirements of each project.

Overview:
Comparing with the traditional method, this kind of caisson moving airbag is more dominant. The caisson moving airbag is based on the principle of the airbag can be rolled under the condition of airbag is loaded, and use the airbag relay method to move the caisson to the target position. It is convenient and flexible, can be moved laterally, longitudinally, curvedly and even can go through the obstacles such as tracks and ramps.
The caisson moving airbag has a low requirement for the flatness of the ground, which can save the maximum cost and time for users.
Features:
. High safety level;
. Good air tightness;
. Durable aging resistance and anti-wear;
. Flexible and economical;
. Low cost;
. Long lifespan.
