JT4174 B Countershaft Bulkhead Stuffing Box have three types (A, B, C). When the bulkhead space is small or there is a design requirement, type A and C can be chosen. Type A is suggested for vessels which bulkhead space is large. The JT4174 B Countershaft Bulkhead Stuffing Box is a type of marine sealing apparatus used to prevent water from entering the vessel through the stern tube. It is typically installed in the bulkhead that separates the engine room from the propeller shaft compartment and is used to seal the stern tube where it passes through the bulkhead.
