Magnetic Float Level Gauge

Magnetic Float Level Gauge

Introduction:

A magnetic float level gauge is a type of level measurement instrument used to determine the level of liquid in a tank or vessel. It operates based on the principle of buoyancy, utilizing a float that rises or falls with the liquid level.

The magnetic float level gauge consists of two main components: a float and a guide tube. The float is typically cylindrical or ball-shaped and is made of a buoyant material such as stainless steel or plastic. It is designed to float on the surface of the liquid and move up and down as the liquid level changes.

The guide tube is a transparent or opaque tube that is installed vertically in the tank or vessel. It is attached to the top and bottom of the tank and provides a path for the float to move freely. The guide tube contains a series of magnetic switches or reed switches that are activated by the movement of the float.
