Application

Marine propeller is a device with a rotating hub and radiating blades that are set at a pitch to form a helical spiral, that, when rotated, exerts linear thrust upon a working fluid, such as water. Propellers are used to pump fluid through a pipe or duct, or to create thrust to propel a boat through water. The design of the propeller is critical to the performance and efficiency of the vessel. Factors such as the number and shape of the blades, the pitch of the blades, and the diameter of the propeller can all affect the thrust generated, the speed of the vessel, and the efficiency of the propulsion system.

Marine propellers are divided into fixed pitch propeller and controllable pitch propeller. According to the blade, there are three-blade propeller, four-blade propeller and five-blade propeller. And the propeller can be made by the following materials including Manganese Bronze (Cu1), Ni-Mn Bronze (Cu2), Ni-Al Bronze (Cu3), Mn-Al Bronze (Cu4) and stainless steel.

In order to ensure the quality of products, we usually use crack detection to detect cracks or defects in metal materials or parts. The commonly used crack detection methods are: X-ray crack detection, ultrasonic crack detection, magnetic particle testing, penetrant inspection, eddy current testing, Gamma ray testing and so on.
