Self Closing Drain Valve

Self Closing Drain Valve

Introduction:

A self-closing drain valve is a type of valve that is designed to automatically shut off the flow of liquid from a drainage system when a certain condition is met, such as when the liquid level reaches a certain point or when there is a change in pressure.

The valve is designed and manufactured according to JIS F7398 standard. The valves provided by HI-SEA mainly include U-type and F-type. Pressure from 5K to 10K, operated by lever or button. Valves are available with metal seals or soft seals.

Application:

Self-closing drain valves are commonly used in various industrial and commercial applications to prevent spills, overflows, and other potential hazards associated with drainage systems. They are particularly useful in environments where there is a risk of contamination or pollution, such as in chemical processing plants or oil and gas refineries.

Features:

Self-closing drain valves are typically made of durable materials such as brass, stainless steel, or plastic, depending on the specific application and requirements. They can be installed in a variety of orientations and configurations, including vertical and horizontal orientations, and can be manually or automatically operated. Regular maintenance and testing of self-closing drain valves is important to ensure that they are functioning properly and able to provide reliable shut-off in the event of an emergency.
