Marine Gantry Crane
Application
A marine gantry crane is a type of crane used for lifting and moving heavy loads on and off ships or other marine vessels, as well as for loading and unloading cargo at ports or docks. These cranes are typically mounted on a gantry structure that straddles the vessel or the dock, providing a stable and secure base for lifting and moving heavy loads. Marine gantry cranes are generally larger and more powerful than other types of marine cranes, with a higher lifting capacity and greater reach. They are often used for handling large containers, heavy machinery, or other oversized loads that cannot be handled by other types of cranes. These cranes are typically operated by a trained operator who controls the crane from a cab or control room located on the crane structure. They may also be equipped with advanced automation and safety features, such as anti-sway systems or collision avoidance systems, to improve their efficiency and safety.
