Marine Smoke Tube Boiler
Introduction of Marine Smoke Tube Boiler
A boiler in which smoke flows in the tube of the heating surface and the pot water is outside the tube. Also known as fire tube boiler.
Working Principle of Marine Smoke Tube Boiler
The furnace and the smoke pipe divide the whole boiler shell into two mutually isolated spaces. The inside is smoke, and the outside is full of water. Fuel and air are sent into the furnace by fuel injection nozzles and blowers. After the oil is ignited and burns in the furnace. The heat in the high temperature flame and smoke is mainly transmitted to the water through the furnace wall by means of radiation. The unburned oil and smoke flow upward through the smoke outlet to the combustion chamber to continue to burn, the smoke flows into the smoke box through the pipe, and finally is discharged into the atmosphere from the chimney.

Features of Marine Smoke Tube Boiler
The heat storage performance of smoke tube boiler is better because of its large water storage capacity.
When the load changes suddenly or the water supply is uneven, the steam pressure fluctuates little.
Because the evaporation is relatively small, the continuous steam supply time is longer when the furnace is shut down. The requirement for the quality of boiler water is not high.
But the heat transfer effect is poor, so its efficiency and evaporation intensity are lower. The equipment is also very bulky.
