Dredge Cutter Head
Application
A dredge cutter head is a component of a dredging machine that is used to break up and remove hard materials, such as rock, clay, or dense sediment. It is typically mounted on the front of the dredging machine and rotates at high speeds to cut and loosen the material.
The dredge cutter head consists of a central hub that is connected to the dredging machine's hydraulic system, as well as a series of cutter teeth or blades that are attached to the hub. The cutter teeth are usually made from high-strength steel or tungsten carbide and are designed to cut through the hard materials being dredged.
