    Marine Centrifugal Pump

    Marine Centrifugal Pump

    Marine Centrifugal Pump Overview

Centrifugal pumps are used to transport fluids by the conversion of rotational kinetic energy to the hydrodynamic energy of the fluid flow. The rotational energy typically comes from an engine or electric motor. They are a sub-class of dynamic axisymmetric work-absorbing turbomachinery. The fluid enters the pump impeller along or near to the rotating axis and is accelerated by the impeller, flowing radially outward into a diffuser or volute chamber (casing), from which it exits.

Marine centrifugal pump is designed to deliver fresh water, sea water or other non corrosive liquid with temperature less than 85℃, it usually service as a ballast pump, bilge pump, cooling pump, fire pump or GS pump etc. Marine centrifugal pump can be in vertical type or horizontal type. For vertical version centrifugal pump, we have following model for option: CLH, CL, CISG, CLH-2, CLZ-2, CSG, CSGB, CLG, CDL, TSH, TS, TPY, CLZ, ETC. Available horizontal centrifugal pump is CWZ,CBZ, CYZ-A, CB, CIS, CZW, CWL, CWLD, BL, etc.

    Marine Centrifugal Pump Features

    1. Impeller is fixed up directly on lengthening shaft, which result in short axial length, pump and motor coincide perfectly, which effectively reduce the axial and radial force.

    2. Stable running, low noise, high concentricity of components. Beatings of low noise are used for motor, the impellers has the advantage of best dynamic and static balance, as no vibration at running, thus, the environment can be improved.

    3. Easy to maintain. It is not necessary to remove the pipeline for check-out and maintenance, only to take out the nuts on the pump lid, the motor and the driving components.

    4. The pump, according to the operation condition of the worksite, could be mounted in many ways, vertically, horizontally etc, and also according to the requirements for the flow and stroke, mounted in parallel or in series to increase the needed flow and stroke.

    5. Plastic, stainless steel, bronze, cast iron and other materials solutions for a range of budgets.
