    A60 Fire Damper

    A60 Fire Damper

    Overview:

A60 fire damper is a specific type of fire damper that is designed to provide a fire-resistance rating of 60 minutes (or 1 hour) according to the industry standards. The "A60" classification indicates that the fire damper has been tested and certified to withstand the spread of fire and maintain its integrity for at least 60 minutes in a fire situation.

A60 fire dampers are commonly used in marine and offshore applications where a high level of fire protection is required. They are typically installed in bulkheads, decks, or walls to prevent the passage of fire and smoke through ventilation ducts, cable penetrations, or other openings. These dampers are specifically designed to withstand the harsh and demanding conditions found in marine environments.

The construction and operation of an A60 fire damper are similar to other types of fire dampers, but with enhanced fire resistance capabilities. When a fire is detected, the damper automatically closes, sealing off the opening and preventing the spread of fire and smoke to other areas. The materials and construction methods used in A60 fire dampers are designed to withstand high temperatures, maintain structural integrity, and provide a barrier against flames and heat.

    Fault analysis and maintenance:

    Fault phenomenon

    Reason

    Examine and repair

    Fire damper closed

    1. The air source is not supplied

    2. The manual reversing valve is damaged

    3. Cylinder damage

    4. The solenoid valve coil is burnt out

    1. Check the air supply pipeline

    2. Replace the manual reversing valve

    3. Repair or replace the cylinder

    4. Replace the coil

The indicator light on the control box does not display

    1. The connector is loose

    2. Signal box switch circuit fault

    3. The indicator light is damaged

    1. Reconnect the line

    2. Repair the switch circuit

    3. Replace the indicator light

The power transmission of fire damper cannot be opened

    1. The fuse is burnt out

    2. The cylinder spring is damaged

    3. The windshield blade is rusted and stuck

    4. The relay is damaged

    1. Replace the fuse with a new one

    2. Replace the spring with a new one

    3. Remove rust and polish movable wind vane

    4. Replace the relay with a new one

The brake switch is not in place

Long term ventilation leads to dust accumulation at the brake disc, and the brake disc shaft is rusted and stuck

    1. Do a good job of monthly inspection. If the switch is not in place, deal with it. Activate the air brake and refuel the rotating shaft

    2. Remove the air brake in important areas for thorough cleaning

    3. Longer term: the new platform is built, and the oil nozzle is added at the rotating shaft to facilitate maintenance
