The steel grade AB/AQ43 is ABS grade AB/AQ43, which is equivalent with CCSAH420, BVAH420, NV A420, GL-A420, KRAH43, LRAH42, KA43, and RINA-A420. Regarding to heat treatment, AB/AQ43 shipbuilding steel plate is quenched and tempered to improve steel strength in yield and tensile points.AQ43 is a kind of super high tensile strength marine steel plate with the tensile strength at 420MPa. It is mainly used in offshore drilling platform, shipping marine engineering and hull Structural project.
