Spade Rudder
Application
Spade rudder refers to the rudder with the axis of the rudder stock located in the middle and front position of the rudder blade. When used in conjunction with the rudder bearing, the system is sealed more tightly and the possibility of lateral movement is reduced. It is often used for towing the caisson and other items in the process of hull transportation. Our spade rudders are approved by CCS, BV ... The spade rudder is designed to provide improved hydrodynamic efficiency and maneuverability by reducing drag and turbulence as the water flows around it. Its flat, blade-like shape allows for improved distribution of hydrodynamic forces and precise steering control, even in rough seas or high-speed conditions.
