    CYSC107 Type Bilge Water Separator

    Introduction

    CYSC107-type 15ppm bilge water separator (device) is based on the MEPC.107 (49) of the resolution requested the successful development of new oily water separator. It is widely applied to bilge oil water of vessels and industrial and mining enterprises, ports, oil depots, etc, and be able to deal with oil emulsion with a high concentration of oil waste water, in full compliance with the performance of the vessel with provisions of the International Maritime Organization Oil and China's sewage discharge standards required by the Government of the vessels, industrial and mining enterprises oil discharge standards.

    Working Principle




    During the course of special plunger pump draws treated water at the outlet of first stage separator, cause vacuum in the first stage of the separation device. Open the check valve (3), bilge water should enter into the separator through filter, top dirty water suction, start to separate oil water primarily, big oil drop float up to top collection chamber. Dirty water include tiny oil drop should enter into the special congregation, to be collected and separated in the element, form bigger drop and float up to top collection chamber. First stage treatment water through the separator bottom to be discharged outlet, and last enter into the suction of single plunger pump.

    Condition 1: The treated water from the first stage, shall be through solenoid valve (always open) (1) of first stage, and automatic stopping device, to discharge overboard.

    Condition 2: When discharged water from first stage separator is over 15ppm, oil in water monitor would transmit alarm signal, open the solenoid valve (always close) (2) and the solenoid valve (always close) (3) of the secondary stage ,and close the solenoid valve (always close) (1) of the first stage. After first stage discharging water enter into the secondary treatment chamber and  continue to be  separated   & filtrated  finely. Discharging water below  15ppm would be discharged overboard through automatic stopping device. When the standard of the water from secondary stage are qualified, and after 20 minutes, the device will automatically switch to a working condition I, the process as above.


    Maintenance

    1. Strainer and sucking bottom valve to be washed termly or at the time that the vacuum value of 15ppm bilge water separator is increasing abnormally.

    2. The maintenance of second stage chamber.

    2.1 The second stage chamber to be humidly preserved perennial, never losing water.

    2.2 The fine separator that being used to be backwashed according to requirement, and keep it

    clear.

    2.3 If stopping for 30 days, 0.5% formalin or brine to be added to the system to prevent mildew that may damage the fine separator body.

    2.4 If the device is in ice environment in winter, 1% glycerin or 5% NaCl solution to be added to prevent frostbite.
